Diagnosis. Male. Metasomal tergite II with pair of tuft of setae very large and rounded placed in very shallow depression.

Remarks. It has three species: D. apertus Kieffer , D. subpilosus Azevedo and D. parvus Azevedo. Distribution. Ranging from northeast of the U.S. A to Bolivia.
