Global distribution: Costa Rica to Colombia to Venezuela, Greater Antilles, Lesser Antilles. Records: R. Aguilar 1085 ( INB, MO). Uses: timber. Regional conservation status: Near Threatened ( NT) .

Global distribution: Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador to Venezuela Sur to Brazil. Records: G. Herrera 2677 (INB, MO). Regional conservation status: Near Threatened (NT).
