Ptycta merapiense Endang, Thornton & New View in CoL
Ptycta merapiense Endang, Thornton & New, 2002: 151 View in CoL .
Material examined (taken by beating): INDONESIA, SUMATRA, Lampung, Sumberjaya , 850m, 1 male, 4.I.1996. ESK .
Remarks: Ptycta merapiense was described from material collected on Java. The specimen examined agrees with that description in having the phallosome broad anteriorly, the paraproct with an extremely long apical spine and the lateral sclerotised area of the epiproct continued posteriorly. These genitalic features differ from those of other Oriental congeners.
