Type Locality: NE China, (Manchuria), Ussuri River.
Vernacular Names: Ussuri White-toothed Shrew.
Synonyms: Crocidura campuslincolnensis Sowerby 1945 ; Crocidura lasiura Giglioli and Salvadori 1887 ; Crocidura lizenkani Kishida 1931 ; Crocidura neglecta Kuroda 1934 ; Crocidura sodyi Kuroda 1935 ; Crocidura thomasi Sowerby 1917 ; Crocidura yamashinai Kuroda 1934 .
Distribution: Ussuri Region ( Russia) and NE China to Korea; Kiangsu ( China). Range mapped by Zaitsev (1993) and Jiang and Hoffmann (2001).
Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
Discussion: Karyotype has 2n = 40, FN = 56 ( Zima et al., 1998). For synonyms see Corbet (1978c:29).
