Comments: This species is already known from Gabon (Belinga, Komo, Monts de Cristal, Sibang), but is first recorded in Ipassa Reserve here. It is also known from Angola, Cameroon, Republic of Central Africa, Congo-Brazzaville, Democratic Republic of Congo, Guinea, and Ivory Coast. It is probably widespread around the Guinean Gulf ( Villiers 1983a).

Material examined: 1 specimen, 17-IX-2006, 00°30.008’N 12°48.088’E, 529m, Guilbert & Picart coll., MNHN.

Comments: This species is already known from Gabon, without any more precise locality. It is also known from Cameroon, Republic of Central Africa, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, and Ivory Coast. It is probably widespread around the Guinean Gulf ( Villiers 1983a).

Comments: This species is already known from Ipassa Reserve by specimens collected by H. Coiffait in 1963 ( Villiers 1982b). It is also known from Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Guinea.

Mastigonomus roubaudi Villiers, 1948

Comments: This species was described partly on the basis of specimens from Gabon. Specimens were later reported from the Ipassa Reserve based on material collected by J. Mateu between April and May 1970 and between February and May 1971 ( Villiers 1982a). It is also known from Congo-Brazzaville.

Comments: This species is known from Angola, Cameroon, Congo-Brazzaville, Democratic Republic of Congo; and is now recorded from Gabon and Ipassa Reserve for the first time.

Comments: This species is already known from Gabon (Libreville, Mont de Cristal 400m), but recorded here in Ipassa Reserve for the first time. It is also known from Angola, Cameroon, Congo-Brazzaville, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Malawi, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Sudan, Togo, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia. It is widespread in all the Guinean gulf and in tropical Africa ( Villiers 1968). The specimens examined by us belong to var. marginalis Palisot de Beauvois, 1807.

Comments: This species is recorded here from Gabon and Ipassa Reserve for the first time. It is also known from Angola, Benin, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Nigeria, Republic of Chad, Sao Tomé, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Togo, Uganda, and is widespread in all of tropical Africa ( Villiers 1968). The specimen examined by us belongs to var. picta Schouteden, 1932 .

Comments: This species is already known from Gabon and especially from Ipassa Reserve (collected in VI 1971 by Mateu) (Villiers 1982). It is also known from Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Nigeria, otherwise it is widespread in Occidental and Central Africa (Villiers 1973).

Comments: This species was described on the basis of a single specimen collected by J. Mateu between February and May 1971 in Ipassa Reserve ( Villiers 1982a). It has not been recorded elsewhere.

Comments: This species is known from Gabon but first recorded here in Ipassa Reserve. It is also known from Cameroon, Congo-Brazzaville, Democratic Republic of Congo, Nigeria, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Benin, Senegal, and Togo. Villiers (1968) considers it as of a Guinean gulf distribution and restricted to forests ( Villiers 1969). The specimens examined by us belong to var. pauperata Stål, 1866 .

Comments: This species is already known from Gabon from Ipassa Reserve (collected in II-V 1971 by Mateu), Komo, and Mvoum (Villiers 1982). It is also known from Bioko Island, Cameroon, Congo- Brazzaville, Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, and Nigeria.
