Revised description. Large, moderately slender fusiform shell of up to eight teleoconch whorls; apical angle ~40°. Protoconch low conical of 2.5 convex whorls, diameter 1200 μm, height 1100 μm. First teleoconch whorl with two spiral cords overrunning close-set axial ribs. Broad, convex subsutural cord appears on second teleoconch whorl. Whorls with concave subsutural ramp and broad rounded axial ribs, separated by narrower interspaces, overrun by prominent subsutural spiral cord and two broad, prominent spiral cords along periphery, slightly swollen over axial ribs. Whorl profile of later teleoconch whorls with broad concave subsutural ramp, roundly angled at shoulder placed slightly above mid-whorl, moderately convex below. Suture deeply incised, shallowly undulating. Sculpture of broad axial ribs, fading over subsutural ramp. Spiral sculpture of numerous, close-set narrow cords of alternating strength, equally developed over ribs and axial interspaces. Last whorl attaining ~65% of total height, with broad, shallow, concave subsutural ramp, roundly angled at prominent shoulder, weakly convex below to second weak, rounded angulation at base; base strongly constricted; fasciole moderately swollen with distinct growth lines, forming narrow chink. Sculpture of eight weak to subobsolete axial ribs forming blunt nodes along shoulder; regular spiral sculpture of numerous cords of alternating strength, slightly more prominent over base and fasciole. Aperture moderately wide, pyriform. Columellar callus forming broad rim, thin and poorly delimited to thickened and sharply delimited. Columella smooth, broadly and relatively weakly excavated, twisted at fasciole. Anal canal weakly incised, accentuated by weak parietal swelling. Outer lip thin with numerous delicate lirae extending deep within aperture. Siphonal canal moderately long, moderately narrow, slightly deflected to the left.

Discussion. See for genus.

Paleoenvironment. Unknown; recorded from shallow water and deep-water assemblages.

Distribution in Central Paratethys.
