Fusus erraticus Koninck, 1837 — Steininger et al. 1971: 402, pl. 11, figs 3, 6 [non Scalaspira (de Koninck, 1838) View in CoL ].
Discussion. Steininger et al. (1971) illustrated a poorly preserved internal cast that differs from the Oligocene species from the North Sea in its much broader conical spire and shallow subsutural ramp (see de Koninck 1838: pl. 2, fig. 5; Beyrich 1856: pl. 18, figs 2–3; Glibert 1957: pl. 5, fig. 6; R. Janssen 1979: 288).
Distribution in Central Paratethys. Eggenburgian (Early Miocene): Nógrád–Filakovo Basin: Lipovany ( Czech Republic) ( Steininger et al. 1971).
