Echiniscus cf. perviridis Ramazzotti, 1959 View in CoL
Material examined. One specimen from a moss sample from Site 1.
Remarks. The cuticular pattern was identical to E. perviridis , though one cirrus A was bifurcated, and the measurements slightly shorter for cephalic papilla, clava, and claws IV than previously reported. Obviously, more specimens are needed from Hubei for a positive identification. This species has been reported from Guizhou Province ( Wang et al. 2007), Taiwan ( Li & Li 2008), and Hainan Island ( Li et al. 2008), but this would be a new record for Hubei Province.
