Summary description. Tiny fragment encrusting a calcareous alga, 4 mm in lateral expansion. No details of the skeleton were provided. Spicules mycalostyles with ‘oval inflation at the blunt end’ (Carter), with ‘mucronate apices’ ( Dendy, 1905), anisochelae I in rosettes, 17 µm, sigmas (serrated) 100 µm, toxas hair-like 50 µm.
Distribution. Sri Lanka (Gulf of Manaar), shallow water.
