Pseudomogoplistes squamiger (Fischer, 1853)
A stenotopic species associated with coastal habitats, whose presence first came to light when two specimens were collected from two separate locations, namely Xemxija and the island of Filfla ( Schembri & Ebejer 1984). It has since been noted from other locations on the littoral.
Distribution. Mediterranean, extending to the Canary Islands.
