DISTRIBUTION. — Pacific: Tosa Bay ( Japan), the South China Sea and the Philippines (Kosuge & Suzuki 1985; Tsuchiya 2000). The present material, from the Coral Sea, New Caledonia, Norfolk Ridge, Vanuatu and Fiji, live in 272-331 m, empty shells down to 367 m.
REMARKS. — Protoconch of 3 whorls, 630 Μm high and 720 Μm wide at the base. Protoconch-I of 0.9 whorls, sculptured with pustules over the entire surface. Protoconch-II of about 2.1 whorls, with 2 spiral keels, sculptured with a series of subsutural nodulose threads and a series of similar threads over each keel. A diffuse granulation is present in the interspaces. Sinusigera lip evident at the end of the protoconch.
