Material examined. Comoros , Mayotte: River Batirini, 12°45'37,7"S, 45°06'42,0"E, 22-iv-2009, 2/0/0 (1/0/0 mounted).

Remarks. Mamersella thienemanni seems to be a very widespread and variable species ( Goldschmidt 2008). The male specimens of this study agree well with the description of M. thienemanni from Madagascar ( Goldschmidt 2008). Specimens in our study are notably smaller, but do not differ in proportions and general idiosoma and palp morphology ( Fig. 1A–D View FIGURE 1 A – D ).
