Osmia excisa Morawitz 1880: 385 View in CoL . Type material: Holotype ♀, “Ordoss am Chuan-che” ( China), type depository unknown. New subgeneric placement.

New records. CHINA: Jingangling, 50km W Linfen, 29.– 30.5.1996 (leg. J. Halada).

Distribution. Known so far only from the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Shanxi province in northern China.

Pollen hosts. The only three pollen loads available so far (from the same locality in northern China) contained Rosaceae pollen: two loads exclusively consisted of pollen of the Potentilla type (either Fragaria or Potentilla ), while one load additionally contained Rosaceae pollen of unknown affiliation.

Nesting biology. Unknown.
