Distribution

The Middle East, outhern Europe and China ( Pont 2018, Akmeşe et al. 2016). It has also been reported from Pakistan ( Moiz and Naqvi 1968). Remarkably, this species has been newly documented in Ziarat (Fig. 4 ).

Notes

This species is a major pest of grass and grain crops ( Deeming 2022). Its activity spans from March to November within the study area, fading away from late November until mid-March.
