Material examined. 2♀, INDIA: Arunachal Pradesh, Dibang Valley district, Dibang Biosphere Reserve, Ram Sing Forest (28°55’13″N & 95°56’28″E, 2762 m), 29.x.2017, Coll. M.S. Pandher, ( ZSIK) Regd. Nos. ZSI / WGRC / IR/INV.18186–18187 GoogleMaps .

Diagnosis. Body length 13.8–14.6 mm. Median extension of clypeus slightly emarginated, basal half of clypeus coarsely punctate, apical half smooth ( Fig. 307); mesoscutum with anteromedian groove and notaulices not connected ( Fig. 309); tegula orange brown ( Fig. 309); metanotum with scattered minute punctures ( Fig. 309); dorsal side of propodeum with elongate rectangular shaped areola ( Fig. 309); lateral side of propodeum with moderately spaced rugulae ( Fig. 310); fore wing yellowish hyaline ( Fig. 312); hind basitarsus with short shallow groove; mid and hind trochanters and femora orange red ( Fig. 308).

Variations. The specimens examined here differ in the shape of propodeal areola compared to the description of Allen (1975). Dorsal side of propodeum with elongate rectangular shaped areola in the specimens examined, while areola elongate keystone shaped according to Allen.

Male. Unknown.

Distribution. India: Arunachal Pradesh (new record), Meghalaya. Elsewhere: Thailand.
