Ctenoblepharis anomalus Donoso-Barros 1969a: 94 ; Peters & Donoso-Barros 1970: 103.
Ctenoblepharis werneri Cei 1974a: 71 .
Ceiolaemus anomalus Laurent 1984a: 359 .
Liolaemus anomalus anomalus Cei 1986: 201 ; Etheridge 1995: 34; Etheridge & Espinoza 2000: 4.
Ceiolaemus anomalus anomalus Cabrera 1993: 27 .
Liolaemus anomalus Abdala 2007: 39 .
Observations: In a recent phylogenetic study, Abdala (2007) suggested full species status for L. anomalus anomalus and L. anomalus diatadai ( Abdala 2007: 39) . Since L. anomalus and the taxon ditadai exhibit clear patterns of divergence in a series of morphological and coloration traits, we accept Abdala’s (2007) suggestions.
