Diagnosis. FEMALE. The female is easily distinguished from those of the other species by having the combination of the following characteristics: the mandible short with its apex and two additional teeth rounded ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 A); the outer apicoventral corner of the hind femur rounded; T1 not petiolate; and the transverse groove on S2 subangulate. MALE. Characters unknown.

Redescription. FEMALE (measurements of the holotype are given in parentheses). Length: body 5.9–6.3(5.9) mm; fore wing 4.3–4.8(4.3) mm. Body weakly polished, black. Following brown to ferruginous: apical 2/5 of mandible, clypeus apically, labrum, palpi, antenna beneath (scape bright brown beneath), posterolateral and posterior margins of pronotum, posterolateral margin of metanotum, tegula, laterotergum, lateral and posterior margins of metasomal terga and sterna and legs (coxae dark brown; inner face of fore tibia and its spur yellowish brown; other spurs and each segment of legs apically bright brown).

Frons densely punctate with interspace of punctures alutaceous and polished; narrow area between lateral ocellus and eye almost impunctate. Mesoscutum finely and densely punctate, interspace of punctures alutaceous and matte. Discs of scutellum and metanotum, upper mesepisternum and lower metapleuron finely and densely punctate and polished. Upper metapleuron finely striate and minutely punctate, with impunctate, strongly polished posterior rim. Propodeal dorsum strongly and irregularly punctate, interspace of punctures altaceous and polished; declivity finely and transversely rugulose, interspace of rugae polished; posterolateral margin with several strong ridges. Metasomal terga minutely punctate; interspace of punctures weakly alutaceous on T1 but strongly alutaceous on remainder of terga.

Head 1.2 × as broad as long. Vertex moderately convex between eye tops ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 A). Upper frons evenly convex; half of MID 1.9–2.0(2.0) × as broad as eye; frontal line vaguely impressed above, deeply grooved below. Inner orbits weakly arcuate, convergent above and below. Ratio of UID:MID:LID = 7.8–8.0:10:8.8– 8.9(7.8:10:8.8). Ocellar triangle right-angled, barely raised. Ratio of POL:OOL = 1:0.93– 0.95(0.95). Occipital margin broadly and arcuately concave in dorsal view ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 B). Gena 0.6 × as broad as eye in profile, broadest below. Clypeus 2.7 × as broad as long, convex medially, slightly depressed basilaterally; lateral margin straight ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 A); posterolateral corner rounded; apical rim distinctly depressed, impunctate and polished; apical margin nearly straight. Apical margin of labrum somewhat arcuate. Mandible short, apex and preapical tooth rounded, basal tooth almost obsolete. F1 2.1–2.4(2.4) × as long as thick, 0.36–0.42(0.42) × as long as UID.

Pronotum with dorsum rather distinctly defined from anterior declivity; lateral margins feebly arcuate, weakly convergent anteriorly, shoulder evenly rounded; juncture between dorsal and lateral faces weakly carinate; posterior margin broadly subangulate medially. Mesoscutum reflexed posterolaterally with parapsidal sulcus fine. Discs of scutellum and metanotum not raised above level of mesoscutum and propodeum ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 C). Metanotum with several strong irregular striae laterally. Propodeum gently convex, narrowed posteriorly from base, with median line weakly grooved, becoming broader posteriorly; posterior declivity not distinctly defined.

Fore wing ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 E) with SMC2 receiving crossvein 1m-cu at basal 0.69–0.70(0.69); SMC3 1.2–1.4(1.2) × as long as SMC2 on vein M, 0.90–0.94(0.94) × as long as SMC2 on vein Rs, narrowed on vein Rs 0.49–0.50(0.50) × its length on vein M, receiving crossvein 2m-cu at basal 0.40–0.45(0.40). Crossvein 2m-cu curved posteriorly. Crossvein 3m-cu arcuate. Crossvein cu-a originating at or a little posteriorly to fork of M+CuA.

Tarsal claws with small triangular tooth submedially. Hind tibial spur 0.53 × as long as hind basitarsus.

T1 not petiolate basally. S1 coarsely sculptured basally, finely reticulato-rugulose medially and strongly and longitudinally rugulose posteriorly, interspace of rugae impunctate and polished. Transverse groove of S2 subangulate medially. S6 carinate at midline.
