Type material. Holotype ɗ ( KPSP), labeled “ MALAYSIA: Poring, Sabah, 15–16.iii.1999, on fallen logs, M.J. Toda”. Paratype: 1Ψ, same data as holotype ( KPSP).

Etymology. A combination of the Latin words: multus and clava, referring to the rod-like processes of aedeagus.

Diagnosis. Aedeagus nearly round basally (Fig. 18); surstylus strongly contorted subbasally (Fig. 17).

Description. Male. Frons and fronto-orbital plate yellow brown. Palpus yellow basally, black distally. Mesonotum and scutellum yellow, without patches and longitudinal stripes. Postpronotal lobe yellow brown on upper 1/2, white on lower 1/2. Katepisternum with narrow brown stripe on upper part. Legs almost brown, pale on all tarsomeres. Fore femur with 4 setae on median of ventral surface; fore tarsomeres with longer fringe-like setae on anterior surface. Abdominal all tergites and sternites brown. Plate between hypandrium and aedeagus with a few pubescence (Fig. 18).

Measurements. BL = 2.80 mm in holotype (range in 2Ψ paratypes: 2.50–3.10); ThL = 1.38 mm (1.30– 1.62); WL = 2.08 mm (2.10–2.52); WW = 1.08 mm (0.96–1.30). Indices: arb = 9/7 (8/7–9/8), avd =0.94 (0.89–0.91), adf =1.64 (1.54–1.73), flw = 2.27 (2.00–2.00), FW/HW =0.34 (0.36–0.38), ch/o = 0.08 (0.08– 0.09), prorb = 1.26 (1.00–1.12), rcorb = 0.80 (0.72–0.75), vb = 0.32 (0.33–0.41), dcl = damaged (0.40–0.44), presctl = damaged (0.58–0.59), sctl = damaged (1.46–1.71), sterno = damaged (0.86), orbito = 2.18 (2.25– 2.61), dcp = 0.20 (0.17–0.21), sctlp = 1.20 (1.10–1.28), C = 1.88 (1.74–1.87), 4c = 1.16 (1.16–1.42), 4v = 1.59 (1.57–1.76), 5x = 1.00 (1.06–1.23), ac = 11.25 (8.20–9.34), M = 0.41 (0.45–0.53), C3F = 0.67 (0.59–0.71).
