Material examined. 2 males, 1 female (apterous) " BHUTAN: Punakha Prov.\ 6 km NNW Punakha\ Lakhu, ca. 1300 m \ 27°37'31"N 89°49'31"E \ 24.11.2005, leg. M. Jäch (18)"; 1 female (apterous) " BHUTAN: Wangdiphodrang\ Nahi Chhu Riv. at Hesothong\ kha, 27,47°N, 89,54°E, 1260m \ 29.11.2005, H02WA013".
Notes. Metrocoris nepalensis has been reported from northwestern India and central Nepal ( Chen & Nieser 1993). The new record expands the distribution considerably eastwards.
