Material examined. 1 male, 1 female (apterous) " BHUTAN: Sarpang Prov.\ 14 km SE Damphu \ ca. 1365 m \ 26°56'21"N 90°13'32"E \ 26.11.2005, leg. M. Jäch (26)"; 1 male (apterous) " BHUTAN: Punakha/ Thimpu Pr.\ ca. 16 km NW Punakha\ Mo Chhu, ca. 1450 m \ 27°41'54"N 89°46'01"E \ 28.11.2005, leg. M. Jäch (32)".
Notes. This is the only gerrid species previously published from Bhutan; it is further distributed in northern India (west and east) and northern Myanmar ( Chen and Nieser 1993). The first author had the possibility to study the male specimen listed by Chen & Nieser (1993) from Bhutan in the Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle, Paris.
