Distribution in Iran. Iran (no locality cited) ( Telenga 1955).
Distribution outside Iran. Armenia, Azerbaijan, former Czechoslovakia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia, Sweden, Tajikistan, Turkey, Ukraine, UK, Uzbekistan ( Yu et al. 2012).
Host records. Triaxomera parasitella , Dioryctria abietella , Homoeosoma (Anhomoeosoma) nimbella , H. nebulella ( Shenefelt 1972) . It has been also reported from Anthonomus pomorum , Apomyelois ceratoniae , Baryscapus endemus , Cacoecimorpha pronubana , Cydia pactolana , Dibrachys microgastri , Etiella zinckenella , Hellula undalis , Lyonetia prunifoliella , Phyllonorycter junoniella , Ptocheuusa inopella , Sympiesis acalle , S. sericeicornis ( Yu et al. 2012) .
