Distribution in Iran. Golestan (Samin et al. 2015), Ilam ( Ghahari et al. 2011d), Mazandaran ( Ghahari et al. 2010a).

Distribution outside Iran. Albania, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, China, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Korea, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Switzerland, Turkey, UK, former Yugoslavia ( Yu et al. 2012), Montenegro ( Shenefelt 1972).

Host records. Euphydryas aurinia , Polyommatus icarus , Phigalia pilosaria , gall of Adleria kollari , Colias hyale , Hyles livornica , Zygaena filipendula , Z. trifolii , Z. lonicerae ( Shenefelt 1972; Yu et al. 2012). In Europe, it has been reported from Euphydryas aurinia , Polyommatus icarus , Zygaena filipendulae , Z. trifolii , Z. lonicerae ( Fahringer 1936) . In Japan from Colias hyale ( Watanabe 1937; Yu et al. 2012). Yu et al. (2012) reported Acrolyta nens , Acrolyta rufocincta , Adleria kollari , Colias hyale , Dibrachys microgastri , Diloba caeruleocephala , Gelis agilis , G. anthracinus , G. m e i g e n i i, G. monozonius , Lictoria loti , Lysibia nana , Mesochorus olerum , Phigalia pilosaria , Pteromalus semotus , Zygaena (Mesembrynus) brizae , Z. ephialtes , Z. (Mesembrynus) laeta , Z. viciae ( Yu et al. 2012) . In Germany, it has been also reported from Zygaena meliloti ( Tobias 1986) .
