Distribution in Iran. Qazvin (Ghahari et al. 2011b).
Distribution outside Iran. Croatia, former Czechoslovakia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Mongolia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey, UK ( Yu et al. 2012).
Host records. Arctia caja , Spilosoma lubricepeda , Conistra ligula , Atlantarctia tigrina (in France), Epicallia villica , Arctia tigrina , Hyphoraia testudinaria , Noctua fimbria , Coscinia cribraria ( Wilkinson 1945; Yu et al.
2012), Spiris striata ( Wilkinson, 1945; Nixon 1974; Yu et al. 2012). Yu et al. (2012) reported Agrotis segetum , Arctia tigrina , Conistra staudingeri , Gelis agilis , Hyphoraia aulica , Melitaea didyma , Noctua pronuba ( Yu et al. 2012) .
