This is probably the identity of the Barbados record of Tricorynus zeae (Waterhouse) 1849 : lxviii ( Catorama ) of Lengand Mutchler 1914: 435; Blackwelder 1944-1957: 406; Tucker 1952: 343; Bennettand Alam 1985: 23. Trichorynus zeae is likely to be a senior synonym of Tricorynus tabaci but type specimens are not available to confirm this (White 1981: 783). Distribution. Barbados, Cuba.
