Known distribution: Argentina (Buenos Aires and Corrientes) and Uruguay ( Berg, 1891; Pirán, 1956b; Grazia and Schwertner, 2008).
Examined material: 2 females, CHACO, 70 km NE of Resistencia , 25-I-1989, C. & L. O’Brien & G. Wibmer cols. ( DARC); 1 male, ENTRE RÍOS, Depto. Colón, II-1990 ( DARC); 1 male, 1 female, ENTRE RÍOS, Pronunciamiento, XII- 1964, F.H. Walz col. ( DARC); 1 male, SANTA FE, Reconquista , 30-I-1989, C. & L. O’Brien & G. Wibmer cols. ( DARC) [First record from Entre Ríos, Chaco, and Santa Fe provinces] .
