Heteroglymma setosum Marshall, 1925: 213–214 . Type locality: W-Java, Bandung.

Description. Lectotype ( Fig. 19a View FIGURE 19 ). Length. Pronotum plus elytron 3.13 mm. Integument ferruginous, largely covered with appressed, brownish-grey, microgranulate scales. Head with transverse, angulate sulcus separating rostral base deeply incised, leading ventrad in front of eye; vertex with radial furrows distinct. Eyes asymmetrically convex, drawn posteriad. Rostrum ca. as long as wide (0.98 X), parallel-sided; apical declivity subglabrous, with sparse erect setae; dorsum with distinct median furrow bordered by fine glabrous ridges. Pronotum 1.03 X longer than wide; coarsely scabrous-rugose; medially with undulating, glabrous costa. Elytra 1.22 X as long as wide, subovate; dorsally somewhat flattened; intervals with rows of long, erect, setiform to narrow spatulate scales; interval 6 at middle with blunt swelling; with 12 striae; stria 5, 7–8 abbreviated at base and apex. Genitalia. Penis ( Fig. 19b View FIGURE 19 ) with sides of body slightly widening from base, subparallel to apical third, converging to subangulate apex. Apodeme 1.96 X as long as body of penis. Transfer apparatus straight, in apical third curved.

Material examined. Type specimens. Male, lectotype by present designation: INDONESIA, West Java Prov.: Soekawana, Preanger [= Bandung]; labels ( Fig. 19c View FIGURE 19 ); condition: fair; genitalia in glycerol in microtube; DNA extraction ARC4015 View Materials (GenBank # OR591026) ( BMNH).

Notes. Marshall (1925) based the original description on two males and three females; he did not designate a holotype. The round label stating “ Holotype ” has subsequently been added by the staff of the BMNH. A lectotype is designated to ensure stability of nomenclature .
