Heteroglymma bispinosa Heller, 1900: 19 . [incorrect original spelling]

Description. Lectotype ( Fig. 6a View FIGURE 6 ). Length. Pronotum plus elytron 4.90 mm. Integument densely covered with grey, slightly bluish, microgranulate scales. Elytra subovate, 1.20 X as long as wide; interval 5 at middle with small tubercle; intervals with rows of suberect elongate scales. Legs. Femora of ferruginous color. Protibia ( Fig. 6b View FIGURE 6 ) with 3 small denticles in apical half and one larger, acute denticle in basal third. Genitalia. ( Fig. 6c View FIGURE 6 ).

Material examined. Lectotype, by present designation, female: INDONESIA, Sangihe [the label states “Sangir” an alternative spelling of Sangihe, which was misread by Heller as “Sangi”]; labels ( Fig. 6d View FIGURE 6 ); condition: fair, right antenna and right metatarsus broken, glued in position; genitalia in glycerol in microtube; DNA extraction ARC7586 View Materials ( SMTD).

Notes. In the original description, no holotype is designated and the number of specimens at hand is not mentioned. Three syntypes were examined. One belongs to the genus Atactoglymma Heller and fits the original description. Two others belong to Heteroglymma Faust.A lectotype is designated to ensure stability of nomenclature. It is notable that together with A. hoplocnemis (Günther) at least two distict species occur on the small island of Sangihe.
