Remarks.

This species is similar to M. marginatus in habitus, size, and color, but differs in the following characters: lateral margin of pronotum not black (Fig. 13D View Figure 13 ); punctures on the dorsum of head, pronotum, scutellum, and forewings not black (Fig. 8D View Figure 8 ); forewing concolorous; lateral side of the head, thorax and abdomen with blackish longitudinal stripe (Fig. 8E View Figure 8 ); distal portion of median ventroposterior process of the genital capsule with a small upward hook-shaped process in lateral view (see Ren 1983: fig. 26); plica of sternite VII not exposed out of sternite VI (Fig. 15H View Figure 15 ).
