Distribution

European species ( Isaia et al. 2007). It can be found in mainland Italy ( Pantini and Isaia 2019).

Notes

It is a troglophile species ( Isaia et al. 2007). It is found in a wide variety of habitats, including short grasslands, under stones, moss and litter, on abandoned urban land, in cavities within hollow trees and on dune systems. Adults of both sexes were found throughout the year, with the highest numbers from early to mid-summer ( Harvey et al. 2002). It is a "domed" web weaver spider ( Isaia et al. 2007).
