Remarks.
Introduced for Melania buccinoidea sensu Férussac, 1823, non Olivier, 1801 (partim) as well as for formerly misidentified Melanopsis narzolina . Esu and Girotti (1975: 251) considered this taxon as a junior synonym of " Melanopsis affinis Férussac”, which is not an available name.
