Shell (figure 10). Indistinguishable from C. joannis .
Measurements. Twenty-two km SW of Tercan (N =20): D= 11.9–17.2 mm, B = 13.3 mm; H= 7.2–9.6 mm, B = 8.1 mm; D/H=1.48–2.12, B =1.64.
Remarks. Caucasocressa menkhorsti differs from the related species in the ratio epiphallus: flagellum, (see table 2), which is intermediate between C. tortumensis and C. ibera .
Etymology. This species is named in honour of Dipl.-Ing. Henk P. M. G. Menkhorst, Krimpen/Ijssel, who collected most of the samples on which this revision is based and who discovered this species first.
Type locality. V. Erzincan: 22 km SW Tercan , 1300 m alt., FD09 .
Distribution and material (figure 2). Caucasocressa menkhorsti is known only from the Vileyets Gümüşhane and Erzincan. All listed specimens are paratypes.

V. Erzincan: 22 km SW Tercan , 1300 m alt., FD09 (det. anat.; holotype NNM, leg. H. Menkhorst, 16 July 1988, measurements: D= 12.3 mm, H= 7.2 mm; MEN) .
