Stratigraphy:— Upper Miocene (Serravallian).
Status:— Leaves.

Note:— The fossil leaves known as Polygonum zablockii Kownas (1955: 470) from the Upper Miocene (Serravallian) sediments of Poland, are clearly of the Persicaria - type, and a new combination (here proposed) is necessary.
