Malta, Għadira beach, 15. vi.1999, 1 ♀, BM; Buskett, 27. x.2014, 1 ♂, under bark of Pinus halepensis , DM; Fomm ir-Riħ, 29. x.2014, 1 ♀, beating vegetation, DM; Verdala Palace, 25.vi.–10. vii.2014, 2 ♂, Malaise trap, DM; same data but 11.vii.–1. viii.2014, 4 ♂ and 4 ♀; 1–15. viii.2014, 3 ♂; 15–30. viii.2014, 2 ♂ and 5 ♀; and 1-30. ix.2014, 23 ♂ and 9 ♀.
Notes. A new record for the Maltese Islands. It is a South-Atlantic species, particularly common on the Macaronesian archipelagos, found in association with numerous trees and shrubs, especially on dead branches and leaves still attached to the living plant ( Lienhard 1998).
