Material Examined. Chhattisgarh, Jashpur, Badalkhol WLS, Kuhapani Watch Tower , 22°56′ 15.7″, 83°45′10.7″, 632 m, 22.III.2014 (5♂ 1♀). All collected by A. Majumder and party .
Redescription. B o d y e l o n g a t e, s i m i l a r t o O. indianus but darker, with less spots, bands, and patches of pubescence ( Fig. 1I View Fig ); 1 elongate, dull whitish band of pubescence on vertex, starting from inner margin of lower lobes of eyes, apically narrow, gradually broadened towards basal margin on either side of median line ( Fig. 1M View Fig ); frons large, pubescent with long setae ( Fig. 1N View Fig ); antenna 11-segmented ( Fig. 1I View Fig ), granulations on antennomere I similar to those on O. indianus , more granulations on male antenna than on female antenna ( Fig. 2D, E View Fig ), antennomere III little longer than IV ( Fig. 1O View Fig ), III–XI with minute spines on inner margin, IV–XI slender and subequal; pronotum elongate, with 1 pale whitish band of pubescence, band apically broad then gradually narrowed towards basal margin on either side but not reaching base ( Fig. 1M View Fig ); elytra elongate, dark brown (light brown in female), densely punctate, more pubescent at the apex; elytral apex trun- cate ( Fig. 1L View Fig ). Six pubescent patches arranged on elytron as follows: 1 large, transverse, irregular, along sutural margin, close to scutellum, 1 near middle, suboval, joined posteriorly by thin line with irregular patch close to suture, 3 small, suboval patches in distal third, median patch closer to suture ( Fig. 1L View Fig ). Without any pale whitish band or spots on abdominal segments ( Fig. 1J, K View Fig ), mesocoxal cavities closed, mesosternal process narrower than that of O. indianus ( Fig. 1K View Fig ), legs elongate, tarsal claws diverging by more than 90° ( Fig. 1P View Fig ). Median lobe longer than median struts ( Fig. 3D, E View Fig ), medial part very little longer than tegmen. Apex of median lobe rounded, smooth throughout ( Fig. 3F View Fig ). Ring portion of tegmen long, converging ( Fig. 3D View Fig ); parameres parallel, bases close, tips sparsely covered with small and few long setae ( Fig. 3F View Fig ). Endophallus attached between bifurcated parts of median lobe ( Fig. 3E View Fig ).
