Neofurius Distant, 1884: 292 View in CoL . Type species: Neofurius affinis Distant 1884:292 View in CoL . Designated by Kirkaldy 1906:147.

Diagnosis. Head rounded in dorsal view. Pronotum finely punctate and pubescent; collar about the width of one eye; calli well defined; disc strongly convex; posterior tibia thickened toward the apex. Scutellum hairy and flat, with a slight basal depression. Hemelytra parallel-sided, with short, adpressed pubescence ( Carvalho & China 1951; Ferreira & Henry 2011).
