Diagnosis. The species is distinguished by its small size of less than 4.0 mm (2.6 to 3.0 mm). The anterior part of the pronotum is redder than the disc of the pronotum. Lateral view with the clypeus and abdominal markings more reddish; legs pale yellow; huge black spot on the hemelytron with oval appearance. Denser, semi-adpressed, and golden body pilosity. Genitalia with parameres as shown in the figure 11-R.
Plant Associations. Caladium bicolor (Aiton) Vent. ( Araceae ) (Carvalho 1948; Ferreira et al. 2001).
Distribution. Brazil: Espírito Santo * (Guarapari: State Park Paulo César Vinha), Minas Gerais ( Viçosa ), Rio de Janeiro (Rio de Janeiro) ( Ferreira et al. 2001).
