Notes
Questionable status. Reported from Greece by Nicolaidou and Pitta (1986). In the Mediterranean also known from Egypt ( Ben-Eliahu 1972a) and Italy ( Cantone and Fassari 1982). However, as the species is not included in subsequent reviews / checklists from Italy ( Lardicci 1989, Castelli et al. 2008), it was probably considered a misidentification by the later authors. Originally described from South Africa.
