Remarks: Although Chama macerophylla Gmelin, 1791 has been recorded from Brazil (e.g., Métivier 1967b; Rios 1994, 2009; Campbell et al. 2004), Simone et al. (2015) suggested that these "reports of this species have been excluded (...) pending further studies".
