Current status. Junior subjective synonym of Scarabaeus (Scarabaeus) wilsoni Waterhouse, 1890 View in CoL , see, e.g., KABAKOV (1980).

Remark. The species was described according to a probably single specimen deposited in the collection of V. Balthasar ( BALTHASAR 1934). However, there is no mention of this species in the Balthasar’s collection, and we were not able to trace the type specimen in NMPC.
