Remarks: Dell (1971) listed several references to this taxon with the comment that it “has never been satisfactory [sic] reidentified.” Listed by Forcelli (2000: 47) in synonymy of F. oriens G. B. Sowerby I, 1834 .

Remarks: Dell (1971) listed several references to this taxon with the comment that it has seldom been recognized and may prove to be a juvenile of a named species. Listed by Forcelli (2000: 47) in synonymy of F. radiosa Lesson, 1831 .
