Locality: Not stated.
Remarks: Stated to be represented only by fragments. Ihering (1907: 161), who at one time had considered it a fossil species, changed his opinion, stating that it is probably the same as Mathilda magellanica P. Fischer, 1883 [sic; = 1873].
