Type species: Microlophus poirieri Mabille & Rochebrune in Rochebrune & Mabille, 1889 by monotypy. Myrella Odhner, 1963: 54 . New name for Microlophus Rochebrune & Mabille [sic], 1889, preoccupied by Microlophus Duméril & Bibron, 1837 [ Reptilia].
Remarks: Currently placed in synonymy with, or as a subgenus of, Tritonia Cuvier, 1798 .
