Remarks.
Suter (1893: 139) considered the taxon as a junior synonym of Zemelanopsis trifasciata (Gray in Dieffenbach, 1843). The name " zealandica " as mentioned in Hutton (1883: 67) is an incorrect subsequent spelling.
