Syntype:—[ Greece] In m. Olympi Thessaliae faucibus umbrosis: July 1851, T. H. H . von Heldreich s.n. ( WU 0079062 ) .

Lectotype in G-BOIS according to Kuzmanović et al. (2014: 248), citing a voucher with the number 2499, the same collector but a slightly different locality and more precise date. However, they erroneously describe the voucher as a single specimen that is mounted on two sheets but show a picture of one sheet with two rosettes.
