Current name: Knautia magnifica
Syntype:—[North Macedonia] In reg. super. m. Peristeri Macedoniae, alt. 6000’: 31 July 187#, T. G . Orphanides 1057 ( WU 0077532 ) .
The correct collecting year could be 1862 as Orphanides travelled to North Macedonia in that year according to vouchers in LD and WU, including one from the summit of Mt. Peristeri/Pelister (WU 0074685).
