Distribution. Palearctic, Holarctic or possibly adventive in Canada. Canada: AB, LB, NS, ON, QC, YT. USA: NH.
Collection and Habitat data. In NH captured in birch/fir litter, and by a flight intercept and a Malaise trap. Collected from May to August. In Canada recorded from many forest types and associated with low shrubs on the Forteau Barrens of southern LB; adults in Sphagnum under a spruce tree near a spring and in litter of dwarf Betula sp. ( Klimaszewski et al. 2006, 2018).

Norton Pool , 3 mi NE East Inlet Dam, 27.V–11.VI.1986, D.S. Chandler, FIT, 1 male . Strafford Co.: 4 mi W Durham , 29.VII–1.VIII.1982, R.M. Reeves, malaise trap, 1 female .
