Distribution. Nearctic or Holarctic (status not certain), recorded from A/S ( Klimaszewski et al. 2021). Canada: NB, NF, ON, QC, SK. USA: AK, NY.
Collection and Habitat data. Two NY females were found in leaf litter by a stream. In Canada found in black spruce forests, old-growth eastern white cedar swamps, and calcareous fens in moist Sphagnum moss and Sphagnum moss and litter; also, in moldy conifer duff at the base of a large white pine in a spruce forest, in moist moss in a mixed forest; on summit of Mt. Albert, QC (~ 1000m) with specimens being collected by sweeping grasses/ Carex of tundra. In AK found in birch bark ( Klimaszewski et al. 2015b, 2018).
Material. USA, New York, Greene Co.: East Durham , 14.X.1982, S.E. Thewke, leaf litter by stream, 2 females .
