Distribution. Nearctic. Canada: ON. USA (NCR): NH (NSR).

FEMALE (new description). The female of this species was previously unknown. Externally females are not distinguishable from males but have differently shaped terminalia: tergite VIII truncate apically with margin slightly crenulate, posterior setal pores slightly elevated (goose-skin like), antecostal suture slightly sinuate medially ( Fig. 2e ). Sternite VIII slightly produced, broadly triangular apically with slightly pointed apex ( Fig. 2f ); antecostal suture strongly sinuate. Spermatheca with large globose capsule and thin stem, L-shaped bend posteriorly ( Fig. 2g ).

Collection and Habitat data. The NH specimens were captured by flight intercept traps ( FIT) set in a pine-oak barrens and an old-growth mixed forest; a female was captured on the side of a water tower adjacent to a wooded freshwater marsh. All were collected in April–May. This species was known previously from only one individual collected in Ontario, Canada. The Canadian specimen was found in April, in forest litter near the margins of pools in a deciduous, old growth forest ( Brunke et al. 2012).
