Distribution. Nearctic. Canada: NB, NF, NS, ON. USA (NCR): NY (NSR)

Collection and Habitat data. In NY found in rotten wood in December. In Canada found in various coniferous, mixed, and hardwood forests, usually in moss and leaf litter near streams, brooks, and seepage areas, and from moist moss on forest floor or at bases of trees ( Webster et al. 2016). In NB taken in mature and old-growth eastern white cedar forests and swamps; a few were captured in Lindgren funnel traps; in NS specimens were captured in flight intercept traps in red spruce and red spruce/hemlock forests ( Webster et al. 2016).

Material. USA, New York, Franklin Co.: Jct. 30 and 192, 4.XII.1982, D.S. Chandler, sift rotten wood, 1 female .

Comments. This species has not yet been reported from NH where it is almost certainly present. We report it for the first time here from the USA from the state of NY.
