References. Lohse et al. 1990. Klimaszewski et al. 2011, 2021, 2018. Brunke et al. 2012. Webster et al. 2012.
Distribution. Nearctic, transcontinental in Canada, reported from A/S ( Klimaszewski et al. 2021). Canada: LB, NB, NF, NT, ON, QC. USA: AK, NH (NSR).
Collection and Habitat data. In NH captured by FITs in a secondary boreal forest and a mixed forest, and in pine litter. In Canada found in leaf litters: in NB in old-growth eastern white cedar swamps in moss and leaves under alders on brook margin and among moist leaves at base of tree, and in mixed forest in a Pleurotus sp. on the side of a log; in NF found in pitfall traps in fir forests, riparian forests, and a recently burned coniferous forest. Specimens from southern ON were taken by flight intercept traps in a flooded mixed forest and other unspecified forests ( Klimaszewski et al. 2018). Lohse et al. (1990) reported it from northern boreal forest localities in QC as far north as tree line.
